Purchase Planning Manager

Do you have a commercial and analytical mindset? We are looking for a Purchase Planning Manager to be responsible for the overall process of purchasing planning for all BRAV’s brands – SWIX, Helsport, Lundhags, Ulvang and Toko. The Purchase Planning Manager works closely with manufacturers, sales, procurement and sourcing to optimize purchase volume and inventory levels.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

Purchase planning

  • Prepare Purchase Plan according to demand, budgets, manufacturer capacity and contractual agreements
  • Highlight high cost purchases/products due to demand and supply conditions and suggest preferred actions
  • Participate in Timeline decision meetings and implement according to decisions
  • Transfer approved Purchase Plan to Procurement
  • Establish, measure, and initiate corrective actions to improve Purchase versus forecast


Purchase planning process development

  • Responsible for development and continuous improvement of purchasing planning within the BRAV Timeline
  • Establish, document, and maintain work processes to assure continuity and transparency in Purchase planning
  • Implement Planning process in selected ERP system, preferably D365
  • Coach and follow up team members in the planning process
  • Superuser in D365 Purchasing planning


Qualifications Requirements:

  • Very good native and English language skills, both verbally and written
  • Masters Degree in business administration, mathematics, technology or engineering
  • Good knowledge of business application tools ERP(D365), Excel/Power BI, planning and forecasting systems
  • Theoretical and strategic capability to identify and implement solutions through change management, system alignment and process improvement
  • Highly skilled in planning using complex models, taking multiple factors into consideration as budget, capacity, locations
  • Leadership skills, continuous development of own team and contributing in the Supply Chain Management team
  • 5-10 years experience from large purchasing organizations, experience from Asian manufacturing is desirable
