Purchase Planner

Are you eager to optimize the purchase planning processes within the sports and outdoor industry?

We are searching for a passionate purchase planner who will be responsible for planning within the BRAV Timeline to optimize purchase volume and inventory levels. You have a commercial mindset, understand the complexity of the BRAV business model, see the bigger picture, and at the same time are able to work hands-on with high attention to details. 

As a purchase planner in Brav, you will work closely with manufacturers, sourcing, commercial departments and procurement responsible. We seek you who enjoy juggling the big numbers and handling multiple priorities. The target is for BRAV to fully utilize the D365/other applications in planning. Still, extensive knowledge in Excel is needed until other standard applications are implemented.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Contribute in development and continuous improvement of purchasing planning within the BRAV Timeline
  • Prepare purchase plan according to demand, manufacturer capacity and contractual agreements, purchase budgets
  • Highlight high cost purchases/products due to demand and supply conditions, and suggest preferred actions
  • Transfer approved Purchase plan to Procurement
  • Develop a more effective supply chain by identifying inefficiencies in the purchasing process helping improve the Gross Margin, reduce freight cost and boost the Inventory turnover ratio.
  • Maintain the company’s inventory level, minimizing both overstock and out of stock occurrences thoroughly analyzing products supply and demand.
  • Superuser in D365 Purchasing planning

 

Qualifications

  • Very good native and English language skills, both verbally and written.
  • Master’s in business administration, mathematics, technology, or engineering
  • Highly skilled in planning using complex models, taking multiple factors into consideration as budget, capacity, locations. 
  • Good knowledge of business application tools ERP(D365), Excel/Power BI, planning and forecasting systems 
  • 3-5 years experience from large purchasing organizations, experience from Asia and European manufacturing desirable
